It made me realize that all seniors in many, not all, Oklahoma nursing homes could be at risk, because, apparently, no one in Oklahoma wanted to know about it. I was ignored completely by all. My husband remained at home, except for his frequent trips to the ER and occasionally extended skilled nursing care until his death in April, 2020. There was never one day that he was not looked out after by me, our son, daughter, or sister. We monitored him daily if he was not at home. Even in the hospital, one of us spent the night with him or stayed several hours with him.
