The pain was really unbearable, and I didn’t think I could get up. But then I looked up and started getting very embarrassing, not only were people around me staring, but my mom started asking me if I wanted to call the ambulance—-which would be even more embarrassing. I didn’t notice back then, but I realized just how quickly the workers there ignored me and disappeared the moment my mom mentioned the word “ambulance”. I managed to get up, and hobble my way towards the exit, but literally, I was looked at like some freak on my way out. Almost everyone had their eyes on me, some mom pulled her child away from me for some reason. It took weeks for my leg to heal, I still don’t know what happened.
