I worked… it wasn’t pretty, but it didn’t stop running). I’m not sure that’s possible with a Audi/BMW and if you did, you may as well junk the thing at that point. As the Audi/BMW and Honda age, you’ll start see a gap widen (assuming both are reasonably cared for) in how they drive, hold-up, squeaks, rattles, etc. Many might consider the Honda ‘more reliable’ as it might need less maintenance over that time period as well. But, if maintenance is done, the German car will feel more like a new one than the Honda.
