Now let’s say you’re a guy. Waist and hip measurements of men’s jeans are much closer for men than women. I would recommend you try on different cuts, waist sizes and brands of jeans until you find a pair that fits. If you have a beer belly, you may want to get a pair with a lower rise that will button up below your gut. I see a lot of guys with jeans or pants that fit their waist measurement but sag and bag about their hip area (I call this “Elephant Pants”. If you’ve seen an elephant from behind, you’ll know exactly what I mean!). Find jeans that fit the area at the top of your hip bones and mid-rise. Check out classic Levi’s 501s which are very well-fitting for a lot of guys. Good luck!
