Surely, pants of a lighter-weight fabric would be called for. And indeed, I was prepared for the occasion! See, I had attended a wedding in Chicago, which necessitated the wearing of a suit, as weddings are wont to necessitate. And the suit I brought didn’t just have your ordinary suit pants. These suit pants were made of wonderfully lightweight fabric. Woven, no doubt, from the same ethereal cotton-blend as an angel’s wings are woven. “Surely,” said I, “surely these pants will give me no grief as I venture through O’Hare’s security apparatus.”
