Our customers understand contracts and expect contracts to be honoured. So if the toaster is found to be faulty I will return it to the shop knowing my rights under the law and politely require that the vendor put right the contract, when the vendor, repairs or replaces the goods, or offers a full refund, I know he has fulfilled the contract, no fuss, no ‘wheres the manager’, no worries, no complaint, no one loses thier job.
