Unless the stain is from a protein source (meat, gray, poop, egg), wash in the hottest water that shirt will take and add 1/2 cup borax (Borateem or other brand), a squirt of blue Dawn diswahing liquid, liquid high quality laundry detergent, 1/8 cup liquid Oxyclean, and wash on the longest dirtiest cycle your settings will allow. Rinse twice, or wash a second time in warm to remove nay reaming soaps. Never but stained items in the dryer. Try washing twice in the manner if it is still stained. If it does not come out, it is probably permanent. If the stain is from a protein source, hot water will set it into the fabric and it probably cannot be removed. use cool water for washing out protein stains.
