A colleague who I always considered a “redneck” kicked an entire family out of his car in the middle of a neighborhood for using the “N” word. I always looked up to him after that. I was in Pakistan in ’94, starring in a TV ad being made there to launch a new brand of cigarettes called Dignity. Not joking here. We shot in Karachi, then Murree Hills for a week. I lived in Singapore at the time and had decided to take my mountain bike along and stay in Pakistan an extra week to ride once I was done working.
