It took until 2016 for me to really dedicate myself to reinventing my wardrobe, driven mainly by having spent a few years at that point in an office job and needing more variety in my outfits. I chucked the Velcro shoes (inadvertently becoming a sneaker fiend in the process), got dozens of stylish shirts in almost every color of the rainbow, bought expensive jeans and chinos, and took to wearing a vintage leather jacket from the 1980s whenever it got cold. Except, imagine it grown out several more inches. The sides came straight down, and the middle was pulled straight forward, over my forehead, in an almost sort of duckbill. Think Duckman:
