I’d never had a vacation and was feeling pretty burned out. While I was gone, someone known to us tenents threw a party in our home, telling my 2 roommates I’d given a key and permission, then once their invitees were drunk, maliciously told everyone to take what they wanted. It was ransacked and damage was done to the property. I was on a 4 day hike at the time states away ( pre cell phns ) & by the time I got messages, one roommate had already moved out. I cut my time away short to return home.
