But even if the product does infringe a right of publicity, it’s very expensive to sue someone, especially if you are an American wishing to sue someone in France (where this t-shirt appears to come from). I don’t know if French law recognizes the right of publicity but I’d be surprised if it did not, at least in some form; that’s one threshold question you’d have to answer.
