As said in other answers, style is mostly a function of time. (In the same way that any of us become more of who we really are as we age, so does our writing reflect us). But in my particular work, I’m often tasked with finding the style of the person I’m writing for (instead of my own), ensuring I hew very closely to it, or, in some cases, develop theirs for them. So maybe I can add a useful technique here. Something I have found very helpful (which may help you define and refine your own style) is to attend public readings. Lots of them.
