How can I be more 'mean' and not be perceived as 'nice'? That's pretty simple. Anybody who is 'nice' to you just treat them like shit. If a person smiles at you or says a kind word to you, give them a 'mean' look or say something 'unkind' to them. If a person does something 'kind' for another person, tell that person how stupid they are for allowing themselves to be 'taken'. Then demand that person does something 'kind' for you.
