I would suggest going the AMD route for your CPU should you choose that. Intel is amazing and all that but AMD is the cheaper route and can give you comparable results in some cases. A new CPU will probably require a new motherboard if you get anything remotely recent so keep that in mind because this will add cost. When you get a new motherboard be mindful of the fact that your RAM may or may not work with it so do some research before buying.
