Hey, I have a suggestion for you. Try to get them to give you a temporary clothing allowance. All your clothing will have to be bought from that allowance. Plan out a spring wardrobe and see how far your money goes. For your next teenage trick, you will be required to find work (e.g., baby sitting, yard work, helping old ladies clean…whatever), and buy all your clothes from what you earn. When you’ve been doing that long enough to recognize what it takes to buy designer clothing…clothing you won’t be wearing in a few years anyway, cuz it will go out of style or you’ll outgrow it…go talk to your parents about what you’ve learned about buying clothing.
