your parents have zero obligations to buy you something like that and if they dont want to you should just accept it, unless you wanna make the money yourself, because no one gets everything they want. When I turned 13 my parents told me from there on unless it was a necessity if it cost above $90 I could either make the money for it, pay the amount that their $90 didnt cover, or pay them back when i became an adult and looking at it now I was thrown off when I heard it but It did teach me some good things. I’m ngl the way this question was possed seems slightly spoiled- you should just be happy your parents buy you the necessary things you need because not everyone’s do. My advice summary: you dont need them, you and your parents are probably better off without them, and if you REALLY want them make the money yourself.
