That movie scared the absolute piss out of me. I slept on the floor in my mom’s bedroom with a lamp on beside me for WEEKS. She was gracious enough not say “I told you so,” but she didn’t need to. My mom was super strict about it; she would find out what movies would be shown at birthday parties when I was 12 and if they were PG-13, guess who wasn’t allowed to go?
