As I was waiting on the platform I noticed out of the corner of my eye a petite black lady dancing around. She then proceeded to start singing and appeared to be trying to attract my attention – since I seemed to be the only other person waiting on the station at that time. Typically, you meet a celebrity somewhere where you expect them – At a movie shooting, near their home, or at least in their country! I was in New York on a vacation and I decided to hit the Metropolitan Museum of Art (where the Met Gala is held, which is THE fashion event every year).
