All I want for Christmas is a cure Lung Cancer sweater

When I read or hear that the CEOs of health insurance companies are receiving millions of dollars a year in compensation, it makes me really wish that some government employee was only earning a $100,000 a year to do the same job because it meant that the difference was going back to cover patients who need it. I am not a European. As an US citizen who recently retired from healthcare after more than 49 years, I don’t prefer the US healthcare system. When I first started working in hospitals they were largely run by doctors and cost was no object. It was an unsustainable and unaffordable system.
