All I want for Christmas is a cure Breast Cancer sweater

I have a high deductible plan to help control the amount that I pay out of my paycheck each month, but I am responsible for the first $3,500 a year per person out of pocket each year. Thankfully, we are all young and healthy and have never come close to using more than a few hundred of it each year. We would be in trouble financially if one, or several of us, suddenly needed major medical care. The state does offer more expensive plans with lower or no deductible plans, but it would severely impact our quality of life if I chose one of those because of the higher premiums.
