Still, here are a few things: 1. Violence. The level of violence and safety is really not that much different in middle class America as what it is in middle class Australia. In my neighborhood I still feel safe walking my dog at night. Now obviously there are places and neighborhoods where I would not do this. But that’s true in Australia as well.
